MEDIA STATEMENT: STATEMENT ON THE CURRENT POLITICAL SITUATION IN ZIMBABWE, 15 NOVEMBER 2017
The Government of Namibia has been following the unfolding developments in Zimbabwe with concern, and associate itself with the Statement issued on behalf of SADC. As neighbours, Member States of SADC and AU, Namibia and Zimbabwe share a common destiny and common aspirations for peace, economic prosperity and democracy for our countries and people. Namibia is concerned that the present situation in Zimbabwe creates uncertainty that is not conducive to peace, stability and consolidation of democracy in Zimbabwe and the region as a whole.
BUDGET SPEECH VOTE 07 FOR THE 2017/2018 FINANCIAL YEAR BY HON. NETUMBO NANDI-NDAITWAH, MP , DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER AND MINISTER, 6 APRIL 2017, NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
A number of developments took place since I presented to this August House the 2016/2017 budget of the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation. Last year in July, the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation convened the Foreign Policy Review Conference. I take this opportunity to express our gratitude to you Honourable members, for your support, active participation and contribution. Some of you Honourable members were resource persons at the said conference. The discussions at that conference were enriching and enlightening. The outcome document will soon be tabled before Parliament and I shall speak at length on this issue then.
